Second ITGRF Workshop 2026
takes place at Herstmonceux Castle, United Kingdom

September from September 14-16th 2026
and is kindly supported by the British Geological Survey (BGS).
Registration and Accommodation information
This workshop is focused on discussions in the realization and representation of the International Terrestrial Gravity Reference Frame .
In session 1, short national reports (~5 min) are welcome, while the other sessions will have an invited talk to initiate an open discussion.
The aim is to finalize the workshop with actions and milestones until IUGG 2027.

The sessions 2-4 begin with an introductory presentation to provide a starting point for the discussion, which is moderated and minuted. The aim of the workshop is to conclude on further activities and milestones until IUGG 2027 and to establish a committee to develop and maintain the ITGRF.
In Session 1, short reports on the status and progress of national gravity networks, absolute gravity sites, monitoring, gravimeter comparisons etc. are welcome. However, these reports should not exceed a max. of 10 mins total presentation time. For further planning, please inform us in advance by sending a short message including
